Most of the smart phones and tablet PCs are using LCD or LED displys, AMOLED displays Samsung’s products use. However, according to market research firm DisplaySearch, AMOLED screen has begun the invasion of a conventional LCD panel market – 10-inch and smaller size. The cell phone producers are now more and more uses AMOLED screen in 2012 of 6% market share in the small and normal size screen, and the forecast is expected to reach 13% in 2015.
DisplaySearch OLED display device 2012 total shipments are expected to reach 191 million units, accounting for 8.4% of the small and medium size display device market.
